Job Title: Adolescent Counselors - Part-time
 
Location: ARTEC South - 180 West 7309 South
 
Pay: $10.10-$11.14/hr.
 
Qualifications: Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Entry-level positions for individuals who are 21 years of age, have good judgment and boundaries and are interested in helping troubled youth. Must be available to work all shifts including days, afternoons, weekends, graveyards. Males and females needed.
 
Responsibilities: Work at a short-term residential program for adolescents age 13-17 who have mental health and behavioral problems. Assist them with daily activities, help with skills development groups, activities.

This program provides safe, secure housing for homeless mentally ill adults. Monitor residents, respond to crisis situations, ensure safety of premises. Responsibilities: Work mornings 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. assisting women with substance abuse problems who are in short-term residential treatment. These women have young children who are living with them while they complete the program. Assist women with daily life, assist them with their young children, occasionally drive a company van transporting women to and from treatment appointments.
